Cancellation Policy

Where a place needs to be cancelled we will endeavour to support you to achieve the best outcome. Where a course is cancelled by you at short notice fees will be charged please read below for terms and conditions for cancellations.

Cancelation terms

Once a booking has been accepted, cancellation terms (below) apply.

Delegate cancellation charges

You may cancel your booking without penalty providing we receive written notice more than 6 calendar weeks (42 days) prior to the start of the relevant training course.

Written cancellations received prior to the start of the training course:

• between 6 weeks (42 days) and 4 weeks (28 days) will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee;

• between 4 weeks (28 days) and 2 weeks (15 days) will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee;

• 2 weeks (14 days) or less will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.

No refunds will be given if you fail to attend a course for which you have made a booking

Substitutions

Alternative delegates can be substituted for those already booked on a course. Another person can take up your place when self-organised (Any transfer of payment if applicable is up to these individuals or organisations and is not the responsibility of Outdoors Thinking).

Substitutions can be made by written application. All applications need to be made in writing at least two weeks prior to commencement of the course.

Transferring your booking from one course to another

Participants can transfer from one course to another where they can’t attend the original booking. You may Transfer your booking without penalty providing we receive written notice more than 6 calendar weeks(42 days) prior to the start of the relevant training course.

Short notice transfers (within 6 weeks of the commencement of the course) will be treated as cancellations.
